We are looking for an intelligent, hard working self-starter to make a mark as we expand our footprint into the Southeast. The firm’s rapid growth offers plenty of advancement potential for the right individual as we encourage employees to expand their role outside and inside the firm.

This position is integral to the firm’s business as it grows nationally. It has tremendous upside and can grow with the right individual.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain (first) and grow (second) relationships with financial advisors to educate and promote products and offerings
  • Communicate detailed understanding of SMA and mutual fund portfolio positioning to advisory clients and prospects
  • Conduct portfolio reviews via phone and in person with advisory clients
  • Co-develop ad-hoc and systematic client communication content and format (e.g. monthly, quarterly, annual updates, white papers, conference calls, events)
  • Deepen and broaden relationships (e.g. existing and new products) with Financial Advisors current and prospective institutional relationships
  • Serve as a senior contact in executing marketing campaigns to select prospects
  • Work with junior staff to systematically service and prospect relationships
  • Local and regional travel required with occasional national travel expected

Qualifications

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years experience working in a relevant position within an RIA, asset management or brokerage firm
  • Expert knowledge of financial markets, investment products and services is a must
  • CFA or MBA is a plus
  • Well versed in the use of all Microsoft Office Applications. Proficiency in Bloomberg also a plus.
  • Candidate must be attentive to detail, diligent, willing to learn new things and be a team player
  • It is important that the candidate be entrepreneurial, hardworking, and possess excellent communication skills

Job Summary

The Client Relations Manager works directly with firm clients to address a variety of needs. This individual has exceptional interpersonal skills, an aptitude for financial and investment concepts, and the ability to earn the confidence of high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Portfolio consulting to determine investment allocation across proprietary product
  • Providing comprehensive financial planning advice to high net worth clients
  • Reviewing client performance, needs, goals, and objectives
  • Ability to talk about portfolio holdings in depth
  • Ability to garner additional client assets where appropriate
  • Servicing day-to-day client needs
  • Gathering client data and documenting accounts
  • Drafting correspondence and needs summaries
  • Researching items relevant to client financial needs

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5 years experience preferred, ideally in financial services industry
  • CFP designation is strongly preferred but candidates willing to obtain the necessary certifications will be considered
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral
  • Aptitude for financial and investment concepts
  • Intelligent, proactive, well organized, attention to detail, ability to multi-task, keep track of open items
  • Desire/ability to work successfully in a small company environment
  • Series 65 a plus, but not required
